In the food industry, large volumes of raw materials and finished products go hand in hand with complex financial and logistical administration. Managing these flows efficiently requires accurate data, reliable processes and tight integration between operations and finance.
Maselis, a leading grain and food producer, wanted to fully digitise its finance department in order to work faster, reduce errors and gain better insight into its financial operations. The existing manual handling of documents and data was time-consuming and increasingly difficult to scale.

Using Odoo Accounting, we implemented an end-to-end accounting solution that brings invoicing, payments and financial reporting together in a single, coherent system. This provided Maselis with a clear and reliable financial backbone that connects smoothly with their operational processes.
In addition, we integrated an OCR and AI-based solution to automatically process incoming documents. This includes purchase invoices as well as transport documents such as CMRs, which are automatically read, interpreted and correctly assigned within Odoo. Manual data entry and document handling are largely eliminated.
As a result, the finance team no longer needs to spend time manually coding and checking documents. Instead, they can focus on financial analysis, control and supporting the business with timely insights.
The outcome is a fully digital finance department, fewer errors and a significant time saving in the processing of thousands of documents, enabling Maselis to operate more efficiently and with greater confidence in its financial data.
